‘Ski With A Ranger’ presentations announced

The Beartooth Ranger District is offering ‘Ski With a Ranger’ presentations at the Red Lodge Mountain Ski Area this winter. The presentations will include five opportunities to join a Forest Service employee for a run at the ski area where the public can hear about different aspects of forest and resource management.
The public can participate by meeting outside of the Midway Lodge at 1 p.m. on the following scheduled Fridays: Jan. 26 Snow Ranger 101, Jeff Gildehaus; Feb. 9 RLM Geology, Dan Seifert; Feb. 23 District Ranger Current Events, Ken Coffin; March 9 A-B Wilderness 40th, Allie Wood, Lauren Oswald; and March 23 RLM Hydrology, Andy Efta.
“Ski With a Ranger presentations offer the skiing public a chance to hear about Forest Service programs and management activities similar to our Moonlight Walk presentations in the summer.” said Ken Coffin, District Ranger. For additional information, please contact the Beartooth Ranger District at (406) 446-2103 or visit them online at www.fs.usda.gov/custergallatin or on Facebook.
