Bridger Swap success

To the Editor,

Bridger Cares would like to heartily thank everyone who helped make the Sixth Annual Clothing Swap the most successful one ever. We had a record number of individuals bring clothes and take clothes. Many of the people who brought clothing on Friday morning stayed to help sort, thus making our job much easier. Kudos to you folks. We would also like to thank all the businesses who helped us and to the Town of Bridger for free use of the civic center With regard to the clothing left at the end of the swap – some went to Dress for Success, an organization that helps outfit low income and unemployed individuals with professional work attire to help facilitate their entrance into the workforce. The Montana Rescue Mission picked up the rest. The rescue mission provides clothing for the homeless in the men’s shelter, and distributes clothes to Children and Family Services and to needy individuals within Billings and its surrounding area. Thanks again to all who made the swap a success. We hope to see you again at next year’s swap.
