Burglary and theft charges pending for local man

On March 6, 2013, a summons and warrant of arrest were filed against Tyler Jansma, a former Red Lodge resident. Charges were filed against him in Carbon County District Court with six counts: 3 felony charges for burglary and 3 misdemeanor charges for theft. Jansma filed bail which was set for $15,000 in Carbon County District Court and was released on April 17.

The burglaries and thefts charged allegedly involved a Remington rifle, chain saw, sanders and other various tools taken from private and commercial properties in Red Lodge.
