Carl Richard Alt

Carl Richard Alt, of Joliet passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Care in Billings. Carl was born Jan. 14, 1940 to Adolph H. Alt and Eleanor Harper Alt. He was the oldest of five children. He attended school in Roundup, and worked on the Alt homestead in Devil’s Basin in the summer. Carl and his parents bought a place in Joliet, in 1965. He worked various jobs while ranching with his parents.

Carl married Beverly DeVries of Roberts, on July 6, 1976. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his father Adolph and sister Della Carlson. Carl is survived by his mother Eleanor at Laurel Health & Rehab Center, sister Betty (Merle) Barnett of Kamiah, Idaho, brothers Earl (Cheri) Alt of Joliet, Dave (Helen) Alt of Vancouver, Wash.; 8 nieces and nephews. Memorial services were 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at the Joliet Wesleyan Church.

Cremation has take place under the direction of smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Memorials can be made to the Joliet EMS, 522 E. Front St. Joliet, MT 59041
