Carolyn Sue Bothman

On July 16 another Angel earned her wings. Carolyn Sue Bothman, Fromberg, was called to heaven.Sue was born on Nov. 1, 1937 to Raymond and Estaleda Burzynski in Illinois. She joined her brother Don and her brother Dean followed her. When Raymond and Estaleda ended their marriage, Estaleda married Leo Miller and they all moved to Musselshell, Montana. Three sisters joined the family, Trina, Peeky and Diana.When Sue was 15 she married Jack Bothman. They had a love that would last 61 years.Jack and Sue moved to California with part of Jack’s family. They started their family there with a beautiful baby girl, Jackie, followed by John, Jana, Joni and Judy.After their family was raised, they moved to Columbia Falls. Later they settled in the Clarks Fork Valley where they owned the Bridger Café for many years.Preceding her to heaven were her parents and brother Don.Sue is survived by the love of her life, Jack; children, Jackie (Bill) Bowen of Placerville, CA, John Bothman of Fromberg, Jana McCormack of Placerville, CA, Joni (Sam) Giovetti of Bridger and Judy (Mike) Ewing of Fromberg; her grandchildren, Billy and Rachel, Kendra and Jeremy, Michael, J.C. and Jade and Tiffany and Chris; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Reverend Dean (Jerry) Miller; her sisters, Trina (Bill) Moore, Peeky (Les) Pleninger and Diana (Ed) Webb. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law, Eunice Goddard, Tootie (Oran) Pratton, and Eloise Hensley; and all her wonderful nieces and nephews.Daddy will miss his Suzy Q and we will always miss our Momma.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Clarks Fork Baptist Church in Bridger. Interment was in the Bridger Cemetery. Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge assisted with the arrangements.Memorials may be given to Beartooth Hospice, P.O. Box 590, Red Lodge, MT 59068..
