Dean Leroy Taylor

Dean was born Aug. 18, 1932 at Fromberg, the eighth of nine children of Howard and Della Taylor. He graduated from Edgar H.S. and served in the Army. He later married Dolly Annis, and they had three children; daughters Laurie and Lynn and son Leslie. Dean and Dolly later divorced. Dean married Lois Baker .

With this union Dean’s family grew with stepchildren Bob Knickerbocker, Dale Tuttle, Carol Russell and Deb Rappe. Dean was employed by Petrolane Gas Company until his retirement in Forsyth. They later moved to Havre, where Lois passed away. Dean resided in Laurel at the time of his death. Dean is survived by his children Les (Kelly), Laurie and Lynn and their children. Brothers Warren (Betty), Harold (Myrna), Don (Jane) and Cecil (Lynn). Stepchildren Bob Knickerbocker (Connie), Dale Tuttle, Carol Russell, Deb (Ken) Rappe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Seaton, brothers Sid, Duane, Jim and wife Lois, grandson, Danny, stepson Kenneth Knickerbocker and step grandson,Chris Knickerbocker. Memorial services will be Saturday, June 8, at 3 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel, 925 S, 27th, Billings. Interment will be in Havre at a later date.
