Diane Agnew

LUTHER – Diane Noel Agnew, 58, of Luther, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born to Arlene and the late William Marshall on December 25, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN.  Diane graduated from Eden Prairie High in 1975 and Cardnel Stritch College in 1994 with a degree in Business Administration.  While working in Yellowstone National Park in 1974 she met her husband, Mike Agnew. They were married in 1980, residing in Excelsior, Chanhassen, and Shorewood, MN.  She moved to Luther, MT in 2011 with her husband to begin the next chapter of their lives. Diane was born with a green thumb and a deep love for all life around her.   She was a volunteer at the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary. She loved working as school secretary at Mountain View Elementary in Red Lodge. Diane is survived by her husband; daughter Rachel; son Justin; mother Arlene; sister Pam (Brad) Knutson; brother Wade Marshall; and Trixie her dog. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
