Diane Meyer

Diane was born Jan. 28, 1937 in Roberts, Montana to Olavi and Laura Kainu.  
She was raised on family farms in the Red Lodge area. She paid her way through school at Eastern Montana College by breaking horses.   She married Don Meyer July 18, 1957 and had three children, Deborah, Dean and Donna. She spent many years teaching in Boyd, Luther, Roberts, Jackson, and Red Lodge. She retired after teaching English at Roosevelt Junior High.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don and daughter Deborah. She is survived by her sisters, Lois Reid and Marlene Crawford (Jim) and children Dean (Becci), Donna (Darren), and grandchildren Drew and Jordyn Meyer and Laura and Cameron Hickel.
Special thanks to the staff at the Willows. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Feb. 1 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Red Lodge Elks.
