Divers find missing swimmer

The body of missing swimmer, Christopher M Elliott, 22, was recovered Saturday morning, Aug. 3 from East Rosebud Lake said Jon Trapp, captain of Carbon County Search and Rescue. Elliott was from Pennsylvania and was part of a geology glass from the University of Houston working at the Yellowstone Big Horn Research Association Camp on Mount Maurice,south of Red Lodge. According to Carbon County Undersheriff Dan McJunkin, Elliott went swimming with three friends July 23 and had decided to swim across the lake. Divers from the Gallatin County Search and Rescue team as well as Stillwater Search and Rescue also helped in the recovery.
