First phase of construction April 28; Weather Depending

Weather dependent, Red Lodge 8th to Robinson will begin the week of April 28. Goran, LLC will mobilize and begin work on Beartooth Lane. There will be no impacts to Broadway during mobilization and while work begins on Beartooth Lane.

The project will beautify and improve Red Lodge. Its purpose is to improve safety, pavement conditions, access and capacity. The project will also add and improve pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

The project has four components: 1) constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Broadway and state route 3rd Street; 2) Grading and resurfacing from 8th to Robinson; 3) Providing mill and overlay, guard rail and ADA improvement South of Red Lodge; 4) Grading and resurfacing of Brewery Hill on state route 78/3rd Street from Hauser Avenue to just short of Lazy M Street.

Approximately in mid-May Broadway vehicles will be detoured between 2nd and Robinson. Access to all businesses will be maintained, and detours provide easy access to historic downtown Red Lodge.

This project is being constructed in conjunction with the Montana Department of Transportation. To sign-up for email traffic alerts, send your email to: lynda_frieszmartin@lfprinc.com.
