Local author, John Clayton, has chosen three issues inspired by his, “Stories from Montana’s Enduring Frontier,” a collection of essays about oft-overlooked parts of Montana history. First, Authenticity: The collision between fact and myth seems stronger in the history of the West than of other regions. Second, Government: How does Montana’s history shape the way residents think about their relationship to government? Third, Class: Have Montanans been seeking to build a classless society? Dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. March 11 and the program after 6.
