The Joliet teams took in one win and one defeat last week. Both wins were against some heavy hitters.
The girls squeezed in a victory over Lodge Grass by 10 points, winning 66-56 while the boys took down Huntley Project 64-51.
The boys’ victory was an even affair throughout with the J-Hawks just winning every quarter by 2-3 points. The 3rd quarter was the game changer when Joliet took it 17-11.
Rylan Olson secured an impressive 21 points with Taylor Rowlison on 18 points. Brett Robinson took in 13.
It was a perfect tonic for the boys who had lost to Lodge Grass 82-39, Jan. 16.
Conversely the girls, who defeated Lodge Grass, then lost narrowly to Huntley Project by 6 points, 38-32.
