Lady Scouts add two wins

The Bridger Lady Scouts had a two game road trip over the weekend,that started out with the Fromberg Falcons. The Falcons, a young team would try to play spoiler against a Scouts squad that has consistently been one of the best in the conference.

The Lady Scouts started the game in dominating fashion, winning the first set by the score of 25-6. In the second set, the Falcons were able to put together a couple runs, but came up short losing 25-9. The Scouts would finish of the Falcons and complete the sweep with the final score of 25-7. Kelsey Schober and Emily Tucker led the Scouts squad with 8 and 7 kills apiece, while Colette Zentner led the team in assists with 11.

The following night, the Scouts traveled to Roberts to take on the Lady Rockets. The Lady Rockets pushed the Scouts hard in the first set, losing the set by a slim 25-23 score. The Scouts flexed their muscles, showing why experience is so important over the following two sets. The young Rockets weren’t able to knock down the Scouts, losing by the final scores of 25-11 and 25-17. Emily Tucker fueled the sweep with 8 kills while Colette Zentner distributed the ball with a team high 13 assists. The Lady Scouts push their record to 4-0 in the conference on this young season.
