The Lady Scouts took on the Fromberg Falcons Friday night, and were firing on all cylinders. Led by Annie Cooke who would lead the Scouts in scoring with 11 points, the Scouts got off to a great start and wouldn’t look back. The Scouts were able to contain the Falcons with a strong defensive effort in the first quarter, allowing them to jump out to a 17-4 lead. The second quarter wouldn’t be much different either. The Scouts kept up the defensive intensity and it would allow the Scouts to go into the locker room with a 33-9 lead. With the lead the Scouts built in the first half, they were able to comfortably run through the finish line. The Scouts would go on to win the game by the score of 52-26. The following night, the Lady Scouts would travel to Plenty Coups to take on the Lady Warriors. The Scouts kept it close, in the first quarter only trailing by the score of 14-12. However, the Warriors would slowly build on their lead for the rest of the game, going into the half with the score of 34-25 and wouldn’t look back. The Scouts battled keeping it close, but ultimately lost by the final score of 67-50. Colette Zentner led the Scouts with 15 points, while Kayla Christean added 14 points of her own.
