Parade details for 84th Annual Home of Champions Rodeo & Parade

The 84th Annual Home of Champions Rodeo Parades for 2013 will be on Wednesday, July 3rd and Thursday, July 4th, in Red Lodge, at 12 noon each day. The Grand Marshal is: Robert “Doc” Foglesong, retired four star Air Force General, who now lives outside Roberts, just down the road from Red Lodge.

The Theme is: God Bless America. No-fee registration and line-up begins each day at 10 a.m.. at the Civic Center parking lot, one block west of Broadway between 13th and 14th Streets. Entries must be on site before 11 a.m. to be included in the judging. Reminder: If you have candy or something to share, please walk beside your entry and hand it to the spectators or toss gently to the curb line. Prize Categories are:

Wednesday, July 3rd: Mining and Agricultural Appreciation

2. Best Otherwise

Thursday, July 4th: Traditional

1. Best Float

2. Best Theme Float

3. Best Harness

4. Best Mounted

5. Best Motorized

6. Best Musical

Rodeo begins at 6 pm on Wednesday, July 3rd and 3 pm on Thursday, July 4th.
