Lorash changes plea to guilty

Tim Lorash, 18, of Joliet changed his plea to guilty before District Judge Blair Jones, Tuesday. He pled guilty to 3 felony counts: burglary and theft to a July 14, 2013 incident where he entered a home in Roberts and stole $1,500 worth of fire arms; and burglary to an incident on July 29 when he entered Joliet High School after hours and defaced doors, broke into storage lockers and removed chemicals from the science lab for his personal use. A plea agreement with the state could result in a 4-year deferred sentence and a $1,000 fine with all three felonies to run concurrently. Sentencing will take place March 19, 2014.
