A message from the publisher

Dear valued reader,

From all of us here at the Carbon County News, Happy Fourth of July. This year we celebrate our nations 237th birthday. Since the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, values like freedom of speech and free democracy are pillars that help make our country great and a model for other countries around the world.

Closer to home and for over 100 years the Carbon County News has expressed our community freedom and liberty by recording and publishing the stories that are important to residents of Carbon County. Here at the news we understand that we follow generations of Americans who have defended our freedoms. We honor our men and women in the armed forces past, present and future and thank the countless generations who have served from Carbon County. We take our obligation to record and publish Carbon County News very seriously and we will be there for future generations to come. Let Freedom Ring!

Thank you for your readership,
