Operation Nip and Tuck XII April 25

To prevent the birth of unwanted kitten litters and to further reduce the number of homeless animals in Carbon County, Beartooth Humane Alliance will be offering its free spay/neuter clinic, Operation Nip & Tuck XII, on Friday, April 25 for cats only at a new location. This spay/neuter clinic will replace the traditional clinic held in September.

This cat-only clinic will be held at the Joliet High School (old gym) 300 N. Park in Joliet. The clinic is intended to help low income residents who cannot afford to have their cat fixed and for all residents to control barn and feral cat populations. If you are not a limitedincome resident, BHA would appreciate if you would use the services of your local veterinarian for your cat. To borrow an animal crate or trap, call Beartooth Humane Alliance at 446- 3500. If you trap feral or barn cats, please be aware that a cat with a notch in its ear or a female cat with a green mark on her belly has probably already been altered.

Appointments are necessary and limited in quantity. To make an appointment to bring a cat in for surgery, call 426-0092 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday.

For details about this clinic visit the BHA website, www.beartoothhumane. org. This free community service is made possible in part though the generosity of the Sands Memorial Foundation, the Walmart Foundation and local sponsors.
