Patricia was born on March 11, 1938 in Philadelphia, Penn., to Florence Elizabeth Mason McAvoy Dodelin and John Luther Ringwald McAvoy.

As a teenager Patricia moved with her Mother and Grandparents across the Delaware River to Collingswood, N.J. where she later graduated in 1957 from Collingswood High School.

A dream come true for her was to be on the Florida coast in the warm sun and sandy beaches year round.

She was a Civil Servant for the US Government for the majority of her career retiring as a Flight Secretary for the Air Force Recruiting D-Flight offices in Florida. Later in years she was remarried to Daniel C. Cote and finished the remainder of her life in Palm Harbor, Fla., surrounded by her children and grandchildren till her passing.

Patricia will forever be remembered to always have a smile on her face and a giggle in her voice with a sweet joke to share with everyone. “Life is Good” and “Happiness Happens Here” were some of her favorite sayings.

She is survived by her first husband, Richard S. Whitman of Tampa, Fla.; her second husband, Daniel C. Cote of Palm Harbor, Fla.; her Children, Robert A. Whitman of Clearwater, Fla., Daniel B.
