Paula Clow

On Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, Paula Clow, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 65.
Born in Galesburg, Illinois, Paula graduated from ROWVA High School in Oneida, Illinois, in 1969 and then went on to attend Business School.
Paula began a distinguished career with the FBI, starting in 1969 as a Stenographer in Springfield, Illinois, and then advanced to an Executive Admin position in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1974. Paula’s FBI career next took her to Dallas, Texas, in 1978 where she was smitten by the love of her life, George, who was serving as a Special Agent.
Paula and George married in 1980 and transferred to the FBI Office in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she served as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Special Agent in Charge until transferring to FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. in 1985.
In 1986, Paula accepted a position as a Paralegal for a major real estate law firm in Washington D.C. and then transitioned to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as an Executive Assistant for the Chief Legal Counsel of Pacific Bell in 1988.
After additional moves to Miami, Washington D.C. and back to San Francisco, Paula determined that managing George was a full time job and officially retired from outside employment, allowing her to focus full-time on raising George and her four children.
In 2003, Paula and George moved to Red Lodge, Montana, and have been in love ever since with the beautiful scenery and, most importantly, amazing community. Paula served on the Red Lodge Art Guild Board of Directors and has been a strong supporter and contributor to both the Beartooth Billings Clinic new Clinic and Hospital and the Beartooth Humane Alliance.
Paula is survived by her husband of 37 years, George; children, Patrick, Timothy, Michael and Kristen; sister, Sarah; brother, Carl; grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor, Trinity, Pete, George, Kael, Sloane and by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
A Celebration of Paula’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, at the St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1 North Word Avenue Red Lodge, Montana 59068, with Father Greg Staudinger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Beartooth Humane Alliance would be appreciated (Beartooth Humane Alliance P.O. Box 2333 Red Lodge, MT 59068, http://www.beartoothhumane.org/donate/).
