State Senator Jason Priest may have to hear testimony from his three children in an assault case if prosecutors have their way. Assistant Attorneys General Mary Cochenour and Joel Thompson have filed motions to have Priest's children, aged 4,8 and 9, testify against the Senator. Priest is charged with assaulting his 4 year old daughter, his estranged wife and her boyfriend. He pled not guilty to felony assault on a minor and misdemeanor counts of assault, partner or family member assault and resisting arrest after an incident at his Red Lodge home last February. A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15 and the trial Jan. 12.
