Rangers rain goals on opposition

Red Lodge Rangers blew apart their opponents at a double-header last weekend at the Palisades Field. The weekend matches also saw a bounty of goals from Logan Beck who netted an extraordinary 9 times over both encounters.

First up to the rack was Laurel Storm who were quite washed out by the end, losing 8-2. Goals from Logan Beck (5) and one apiece from Colson DeCarlo, Joe Lemoine and Connor Beck sliced and diced the Storm’s defense to bits.

The s e c ond mat c h didn’t see any let up from the Rangers fierce forward line as Miles City Posse soon gave themselves up, going down 10-0. Logan Beck netted 4 with 2 apiece from Colson DeCarlo, Ridge Tomlin and Connor Beck.

Rangers penetrating runs down the wings, excellent crosses and a midfield so tight not even a breeze could get through paid dividends and help them stay in first place in the MYSA league.

Rangers' go to the State Soccer games in Billings this weekend.

They play Friday at 12:30 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. Then again on Saturday at noon. If they do well they will play Sunday. All games are at Amend Soccer Complex in Billings.
