Red Lodge City police vehicles get redesign

Red Lodge City Police Department unveiled their redesigned vehicles at the Red Lodge 4th of July parade. The vehicles now sport an attractive, up-to-date, more public friendly logo down the side of the vehicles which includes a small teepee about the words Red Lodge and the American flag.

Dan Roller, Mojo Design Graphics, carried out work for $2,700 after Police Chief Steven Hibler and Assistant Chief Scott Cope submitted their ideas.

Chief Hibler said the the vehicles are all "community focused" and "more professional and friendly."

They all carry stickers supporting the Red Lodge High School Rams teams, the Yellow Ribbon Community and salute the Beartooth All-American Highway.

Hibler reiterated the importance of more foot patrols and said he is getting positive feedback.

"The other night we had the ranger out and we almost felt like rock stars when people see us," he said.
