Richard Allan Grudzinski

Richard Allan Grudzinski passed away Oct. 2, 2013. He was born in Hardin, on Nov. 11, 1950, the son of William and Katherine (Feller) Grudzinski. Rich graduated from Bridger High School followed by proudly and honorably serving his country in the US Army in Vietnam. Rich's life led him through many journeys and challenges, but he planted his roots in Columbus Montana with the love of his life Roberta (Robin) Grudzinski. There he continued his hard work and loyalty to the Stillwater Mining Company for the remainder of his career.Rich was presented with a very difficult battle with cancer and fought it to the very end never giving up hope or the fight. After 10 very hard fought months, Rich made his peace and moved on to join his wife Robin awaiting for him in heaven. Rich was a great man, son, brother, husband, friend, grandfather, and most importantly, a great dad. Rich left an impression on everyone he knew and an example for his children to follow. We are so proud of you dad and we love you so much. Rest now dad, your fight is over. Rich was preceded in death by both parents, a brother and his wife Robin. Survived by his daughters Jenny (Wayne) Reynolds, and Tammy Grudzinski, a son Chris (Kristin) Grudzinski, step daughter Vicki (JD) Ingraham, step son Joe (Kim) Foss. Grand kids, Tyler Erlandson, Daniel, Jacob, and Angel Reynolds, Cheyenne Miller, Noelle Grudzinski, and Hailey Grudzinski, as well as his step grandchildren, and Paul Lande. Rich is also survived by his three sisters, Karen (Duane) Shelhamer, Debbie (Marley) Grewell, and Sharon Grudzinski. As well as many cousins and aunts and uncles. Rich was loved my many. A Graveside service was held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at the Columbus Cemetery with a luncheon following at the Little Metra in Columbus.
