Spells Disaster

 

To the Editor,
 The reorganization plan for the Southern Montana Electrical Generation and Transmission Cooperative by the Court-appointed Trustee spells disaster for the members of the Beartooth Electric Cooperative.
 The Trustee’s plan makes us, our children, and grandchildren pay for the reckless, secret mis-management by Southern’s Tim Gregori and the Southern Board of Trustees, who In a perfect world, should make good on their irresponsibility, rather than Coop members.
 Now is the time for us to object to the Trustee’s plan to pay off creditors, including Gregori - who all knew, or should have known had they been paying attention, that their agreements were wasteful and risky - harming the Coop members whom they had pledged to serve.
