Inspired by their belief in this community, a very generous person gifted us with a Challenge Match of $20,000 and thanks to our community and our supporters we exceeded that goal putting us over $40,000 raised. Thank you to everyone who supported the ‘Match.’ With that funding, we will continue to invest in community driven initiatives for today and tomorrow. An inclusive community approach has been the key to cultivating ideas, expanding opportunities for neighbors, and strengthening trustful community connections moving into the future. Through engaged dialogue, we will build important assets that will improve lives and the community.
In these times of uncertainty, it is vital that we can come together as a community to strengthen our neighbors and community character. As Coretta Scott King said, “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members, a heart of grace and a soul generated by love.” It is our hope that these words resonate with you in the upcoming year and together we can continue to serve our neighbors and build a shared vision of a community that we are all proud to call our home.
