Walter Sidney Griffith

On Nov. 9, 2017 at 83 our beloved Sid Griffith lost his life in a car accident in Mesa, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his stepchildren Scott (Carol) Faris of Tualatin, Oregon and Tracy (Bob) Sullivan of Florence, Arizona, as well as his grandchildren Kaja Wagner, Joanna Faris, and Julie Faris, nephew Doug Beatty and niece Susan Erickson.  He was preceded in death by his son Wally Griffith, his sister Carole Beatty and his parents Claibe and Grace Griffith.
Sid was a card-loving, nap-taking, Texas Hold’em, pool playing, Shuffleboard king. Sid and Betty had been long time residents of Red Lodge and active members of Red Lodge Alliance Church where Sid served as an elder.  Sid loved our Savior and now lives in heaven.
Sid will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held Jan. 14, 2018 in Apache Junction, Arizona.
