William Alfred Foust (Bill)

Word has been received of Bill’s passing on Dec. 4, 2017, in Mesquite, Nevada.  Bill was born on March 14, 1940, to Gertrude (Yankoski) and Alfred Foust in Bridger, Montana.  He spent his entire “growing up” years in Bridger and cherished the friends he made during those years.
Following graduation from Bridger High School, Bill spent two years in the U. S. Army before being hired by American Telephone and Telegraph, the company from which he eventually retired.  During his employment with them, he lived in Colorado and California and often talked about the telephone strikes he’d been part of during his employment.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude Buechler, his step-father, Tefil Buechler, his father, Alfred Foust, his beloved sister, Trudy McCollum, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his children from his first marriage, daughter Teresa (Jon) Heifner and son, Douglas Foust, as well as his precious grandsons, Paxton and Mason Heifner. Bill is, also, survived by his siblings, Tony (Dru) Foust, Art (Nancy) Foust and Connie (Dennis) Van De Hey.
Per information received, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be handled according to his wishes.
