The decision has been made by Cycle Greater Yellowstone to stay in Cody for 2 nights on Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23. They are very apologetic and stated that it is strictly a "risk management issue". They determined that it was not worth the risk for their event. This has created quite a few changes. Here is the update at this time: Arrival in Red Lodge: Saturday, August 24 from about 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. ("bubble" of cyclists) Location of Arrival in Red Lodge: Field School Park (across from Skate Park). Minimal Camp arrangements will be situated Red Lodge Rodeo Grounds and the City-owned property adjacent to the Rodeo Grounds. Thank you, Rodeo Association and City of Red Lodge! The station for the emergency teams are now staged at the County Fairgrounds, original location of the CGY event. Thanks for your hard work, Forest Service and Fire Crew! There will NOT be a live concert in Red Lodge at the Fairgrounds on Friday night. Live Concert: "Downtime" will be playing on Saturday, August 24 from 7-10 p.m. at Red Lodge Ales. Hope's Artisan Foods will be available at this event! Live Concert: The Cold Hard Cash Show with local opener, Town Bear, will be playing just north of Red Lodge Ales beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25. Food and Beverages will be available.
