It is that time of year and the Carbon County Fair and 4-H have made it possible to exhibit safely during this age of COVID-19 concerns up at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. There are chickens, sheep and the usual assortment of displays and exhibits of talent and farming skills.
A 4-H Ambassador from Carbon County, Maria Stringari of Bridger said, “This year I’m selling 2 pigs at the Carbon County Fair. I’ve been in 4h for 11 years and FFA for 5 and this is my last year. I’ve been working with my pigs for quite a few months. These pigs are fat and sassy and will make good bacon. This is a great way to fill your freezer and these pigs already have a reserved spot at the butcher. I would love for your support of 4H and FFA.”
Stringari recently graduated from Bridger High School but is still completing her role as Ambassador.
The Fair continues all week and the sale is July 24-25.
The online auction starts Friday, July 24 at 1 p.m. and ends on Saturday, July 25 at 6 p.m. Check out all the kids & animals beginning Monday at www.MontanaCattleConnexion.com.
