All-In-One recycling in Red Lodge

As winter sets in, the desire to drive to the recycling center and drop off your recyclables by hand starts to diminish. Luckily, the citizens of Red Lodge have a different option called All-In-One recycling. This is a program offered by Republic Services for $16 a month, which allows you to place all of your recyclables in one bin. It is then picked up at your home and taken to a sorting facility. The items accepted are the same as those at the drop-off facility, which are cardboard, paperboard, plastic, paper, steel cans, tin cans, and aluminum cans.
All-In-One recycling bins can also be spotted around town, see right. Look for them at the Skate Park, the Library, and Rotary Park, and be sure to put recyclables like coffee cups and soda cans there rather than in the trash. The bins are dark green and have a recycling symbol on them. Keep in mind that All-In-One bins are not for garbage, and can only accept clean, dry, and empty recyclables. Anything left next to the bins will not be picked up.
If you are interested in getting an All-In-One bin at your home call Republic Services at 406-248-5400, and keep an eye out for these bins around town. Otherwise, please continue to drop off your recycling at Beartooth Industries between 10am and 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, or at the 24/7 receptacle at the gate where aluminum cans and paper can be deposited.
