Shayla Webber, Joliet, flings herself for a dig against Columbus.

The Joliet Lady J-Hawks easily defeated Shepherd in their Homecoming game 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

The team made 38 kills with Makenna Bushman on 13, Skyler Wright and Joelle Luoma on 7, and Shayla Webber on 5.

There were a total of 34 assists, Webber with 17, Merrin Schwend 11, and Joelle Luoma 6. Luoma also got 80 percent of the aces with 5. There were 41 digs, Webber 16, Luoma and Bushman on 8, with Bushman making .5 blocks along with Skyler Wright. 

Columbus was Joliet’s next victim losing 25-12, 25-12, 25-10 at home. 

There were 25 kills with Luoma at 9, Webber 6, and Bushman 5.

A total of 24 assists were procured Webber and Schwend with 11. 

In aces there were 5 scored, Schwend 7 Webber 4, and Brooke Miller 3.

Webber made 6 digs with Wright and Schwend on 3 each. 

For blocks, Bushman got .5, with ChelSea DuBeau.
