Art Scholarship Available

Thursday, January 24, 2019

Parents, do you have an aspiring artist in the family who wants to go to college or continue their college studies?

The Carbon County Arts Guild is again offering its annual $1,000 scholarship to a Carbon County high school senior that is college bound or a college student who graduated from a Carbon County high school.  The individual who receives the scholarship must be planning to pursue a college degree that will lead to an art-related career.  The scholarship is for college enrollment in the fall of 2019.  Additional requirements are stated in the application paperwork.

Applications are available now at the Arts Guild, from any high school counselor in Carbon County or on the Arts Guild’s website.  The deadline for submitting a completed scholarship application is April 1, 2019.  For additional information or questions, call the Arts Guild at 446-1370.

The mission of the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery is to support, inspire, and encourage all artists. Reaching out, the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery provides art education and exposure to the visual, performing and literary arts for the benefit of the broadest possible audience.

For further information visit www.carboncountydepotgallery.org or call the Guild at (406) 446-1370.
