We are sad to announce the loss of one of this world's best cooks, Barbara Rayborn.
She was born in Flandreau, South Dakota, in 1944 and moved to Montana in 1970.  For 23 years she worked as a cook at Cedar Wood Villa in Red Lodge, providing tasty and nutritious meals for the residents.  Barbara was also proud of the fact that throughout her life she made sure that everyone around her was always well fed.
She made many good friends during her journey and loved animals.
Thanks to the wonderful dedication of the BBC Hospice staff she was able to pass away at home, on June 9, with her dogs, friends and family by her side.
She thanks the staff for their friendship, laughs, and support. She also leaves us all with a smile and a prayer.
Barbara will be missed dearly by many.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Augustad.  She is survived by her sons, John Augustad and Shane Rayborn.  Her daughter Carla Augustad.  Her granddaughter and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life can hopefully be held sometime soon.
