Beartooth Children’s Center receives Scholarship Grant

The O.P. And W.E. Edwards Foundation recently awarded Beartooth Billings Clinic Foundation a $20,000 grant for Beartooth Children’s Center student scholarships support. The Children’s Center is owned and operated as a department of Beartooth Billings Clinic.

Beartooth’s Foundation Executive Director, Sara Urbanik, expressed sincere thanks to the Edwards Foundation, commenting “The scholarships that these funds provide ensure continuous, reliable early education and care for children, and peace of mind for the families who have to choose every day how to spend their hard earned dollars.  We are grateful to be able to meet their needs through the support of this grant.”

Amy Hyfield, Executive Director of the O.P. And W.E. Edwards Foundation added “The Children’s Center has made such huge strides in providing quality early child care for our community.” Since 2006, the Edwards Foundation has awarded 9 grants to the Children’s Center totaling $91,000.

Beartooth Children’s Center offers state certified preschool as well as licensed child care for kids ages 2 through third grade. It is located at 114 N. Villard in Red Lodge.  Call 446-1919 for more information.
