Billings Clinic Foundation offers Scholarships

Thursday, January 31, 2019

Billings Clinic and Billings Clinic Foundation is offering two kinds of scholarship opportunities to students interested in pursuing a career in health care, Health Career Scholarships and Work Commitment Scholarships.

Health Career Scholarships are for interested high school seniors or students who live and attend school in Montana or Wyoming and are currently enrolled in an accredited technical school, college, or university. Applicants must be pursuing a course of study that will lead to a career in health care. Awards for Billings Clinic Foundation Health Career Scholarships will vary from $500 to $1,000 per year.

Billings Clinic Work Commitment Scholarships are open to students who are within one to two years of their degree completion and currently enrolled in an accredited technical school, college or university. Residents of all states are invited to apply, and the geographic location of the school is not a consideration. Work commitment scholarships are available in the following health care fields: LPN, BSN RN, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, respiratory therapy, pharmacy technician, rehabilitation (occupational/physical/speech therapy), laboratory (medical technologist/histology/cytology), ultrasound/sonography, and surgical technician. Awards for work commitment scholarships will be granted at up to $3000 per year.

Eligibility requirements, applications and additional information for these two scholarships are available online at and must be postmarked by March 15, 2019. For additional information, students may also contact their high school guidance counselors, college financial aid offices, program directors or Billings Clinic Foundation at 406-657-4670.
