Halloween Scares
By:
Dana Castellani
Chief Professional Officer  Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County

The Boys & Girls Club celebrated its annual Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 27 with over 30 teens (grade 6th and up) enjoying music, food, a costume contest, prizes, and a haunted house. Travis Burdick was the DJ for the dance party in the Club’s decorated gym, and Club staff escorted small groups back and forth to the haunted house located in the basement of the Carbon County Historical Society. Jean Atherly, on behalf of the local anti-tobacco group reACT, donated treats and snacks to go along with the pizza and drinks provided by the Club.
