BREAKING NEWS: Rock Creek Flooding In Red Lodge

Rock Creek has breached the creek bank at multiple places in the south part of Red Lodge and has compromised bridges and Highway 212 in the Red Lodge Area. The following evacuations and closures are in place: Evacuation Orders:
- Area East of Broadway and West of Rock Creek from 19th Street to 16th Street.
- Park Avenue
- South Kainu Avenue
- Island at Rock Creek - Kainu
Bridge Closures over Rock Creek:
- 19th Street Bridge
- Hwy 308 Bridge
- 9th Street Bridge
- East Side Road both bridges
Road Closures:
- East Side Road
- Park Ave
- Kainu Ave
- Highway 212 between 19th and West Fork Road
Traffic is highly discouraged on the bridge at Two Mile Bridge Road. An Evacuation shelter is in place at the Gruell Building at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. We ask that people stay away from flooded areas and waterways. If you need assistance evacuating, please call 911. If you have questions please contact the Carbon County Hotline at 406-426-2425. This is a rapidly evolving situation and we continue to monitor Rock Creek and the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone. Please take care and be safe as the water moves through town.
