Charles (Charlie) Edward Strong

Charles (Charlie) Edward Strong, 37, of Bridger, Montana, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Jan. 31, 2020 at P/SL Hospital , Denver, Colorado.  

He was born to Victoria and Melvin Strong in Bozeman, Montana, on Sept. 10, 1982. Throughout childhood and adolescence he loved playing soccer then basketball, participating in FFA and watching Pro wrestling and football.  

He graduated from Fromberg High School in 2001.  

He married Tiffany Wilm with whom he was blessed with two sons, Joshua and Tatum, and later divorced.  

He met Sarah Kramer in Laurel and together had a son Andrew and later separated. Charlie worked hard as a cook at Rockvale for many years as well as Fiberglass Structures and Riverside Repair in Laurel.  

Where there was Charlie, you would find Tess close behind.  Whether it was driving while listening to heavy metal or cheering on the Bobcats, he enjoyed life.  He loved going fishing with his boys, especially going to Cooke City each Father’s Day.  He also enjoyed watching football and getting to meet his idol, Zakk Wylde.  One of his last memories was flying over Yellowstone Park, a place he loved. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Peabody, and uncles Dennis Strong and Larry Strong.  He is survived by his parents Victoria Strong of Bridger and Melvin Strong of Deer Lodge, sons Joshua and Tatum Strong with mother Tiffany of Fromberg, son Andrew Strong with mother Sarah of Laurel, sisters Adelle Tess Ann (Kevin), Jaime, Melody (Eric) and Billie Ann. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 305 Pryor Avenue, Bridger, Montana, at 1 p.m.  Memorials can be sent to P.O. Box 255, Bridger, MT 59014 with remembrances and condolences at
