Coffee and tea with the Chief

Thursday, August 30, 2018

In his continuing effort to meet the residents of Red Lodge, Chief of Police Jason Wells plans to be available for community discussions or law enforcement questions at local establishments.

“I feel that it’s imperative for me as your Chief of Police to understand the community of Red lodge,” he said. “By meeting the residents in an informal setting we can get to know each other better than we might through another forum.”

Since being sworn in Chief Wells has spoken to civic clubs and met with community service organizations as well as many community leaders. Now various establishments are inviting the public to meet him in their places of business.

On Sept. 5 Caffe La Vida will host a ‘Coffee with the Chief,’ from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and Phoenix Pearl Tea will host ‘Tea with the Chief’ from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m
