Construction on the West Laurel interstate project is set to resume

Starting the week of March 18, I-90 traffic will be crossed over to the eastbound lanes and two-way traffic will be in place through the remainder of construction season.  

A 16-foot width restriction for all west bound travel and a 22-foot width restriction for all east bound travel will also be in effect during this period. Loads exceeding the width restrictions will be escorted Monday-Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. for east bound and from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. for west bound traffic. Staging areas are available on each end of the project.

 Starting the week of March 18, West Railroad Street in Laurel will be closed from west of S 8th Ave to the intersection of Frank Rd. Local access only on Shay Rd to residences west of the interstate bridge.
