COYS Awards nominations open to all

The Boys & Girls Club is getting ready for the 18th annual Celebration of Our Youth awards, which will be Thursday, March 22 at 6 p.m. at the Clubhouse. For several years, this event only recognized Red Lodge High School students, and many of them, at some point, had attended the Boys & Girls Club. The awards are now open to all Carbon County school-age students (homeschool too), and they do not have to have any connection to the Club. The awards recognize traits such as leadership, good character, artistic ability, and there are even two awards for adults. Teachers are not the only people who can fill out nominations, and so they encourage all adults and kids to fill out a nomination form and recognize the people in their community who make a positive impact. Deadline for nominations is March 16. Forms can also be found (and filled out) online: http://www.bgcofcarboncounty.org/celebration-ofyouth
