Donald Robert Sandine

Donald Robert Sandine, 69, of Red Lodge passed away on Aug. 28 in Helena.  A proud Navy veteran, Don spent his life in Red Lodge hunting, fishing, and working first as a fire chief with the Red Lodge Fire Department and then as a surveyor for the Montana Department of Transportation before retiring to feed hummingbirds and care for his wife, Kathy, who passed in January.  Don is survived by his two children, Tiffany and Zane, two younger brothers, Dewey and Darin and all of their families.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at noon at the Elks Club in Red Lodge.
