Fire Claims Lives

A fire broke out at Honest Tom's Casino in Bridger at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and claimed the lives of two people confirmed Bridger Police Chief Mike Buechler. The victims were Marla Murray, 71-year female and John Ahles, 33-year old male. 

Both were from Bridger. Murray was an employee working at the time of fire and Ahles was a customer at the time of fire.  Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.  Investigation is ongoing and autopsies are pending. On scene were the Bridger Police Department, fire departments from Bridger, Fromberg and Belfry, the State Fire Marshal, and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department.
