Fouts to serve on Youth Leadership Council

Lillian Fouts, sophomore at Red Lodge High School has been chosen by the Governor of Montana, Steve Bullock and First Lady, Lisa Bullock, to serve on the Youth Leadership Council.
This council will work to raise awareness of childhood hunger in communities, while at the same time engaging their peers in service projects intended to address the issue. Students will serve by developing their individual leadership and organizing skills as well as providing a tangible benefit to their classrooms and communities.

Fouts is currently the manager of the Harvest Hope Food Pantry at Red Lodge High School. Members of the Govenor and First Lady Youth Leadership Council will begin their membership with a mandatory orientation in Helena Nov. 17. At the orientation, Governor Bullock and the First Lady will discuss the current efforts to end childhood hunger. Additionally, the Governor's staff will provide training to empower Council members to develop and execute their own projects during End Childhood Hunger Week, April 16 – 22, 2018.
