Pam Wagner, owner/operator, of Junction 7 presents a check for $500 to Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Foundation Executive Director, David Kallenbach. He said he plans to use the money for advertising projects. “I do really appreciate keeping things local,” he said.

Junction 7, Inc., of Red Lodge began it’s ‘Fund It Forward’ campaign at Bogart’s last week.

The campaign is a program aimed at raising money for Carbon County nonprofit organizations with Junction 7 donating 10 percent of all print sales to these 501(c)(3) organizations. Receiving $500 donations in the first cycle were the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Foundation, Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary, Red Lodge Friends of the Library, Carbon County Arts guild and Deport Gallery, The Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County and BRTA.

Dana Castellani, Chief Professional Officer, for the Boys and Girls Club, said it will help with the Fall and Winter budgets to keep the club “stable.”

For the Friends of the Library they might contribute to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library that provides books to children from birth to age five once a month.

Charities will receive funds in two ways:(1) Junction 7 customers will designate which charity they would like to support with their print purchase and (2) Junction 7 will promote a selected nonprofit each month to receive funds from all other non-designated print sales. Proceeds will be distributed to charities quarterly.

Junction 7, is a UPS/FedEx Authorized Shipping Outlet, and is celebrating its 17th year of business in Red Lodge. More photos at
