FWP seeking public comment on proposed fishing changes

On Dec. 7, The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission approved two proposed changes for the 2018 Fishing Regulations for public comment.
Changes that have been proposed are:
Increasing the walleye bag limit on Canyon Ferry from 12 to 20 daily, with only 1 over 20 inches.
Establishing a snagging season for kokanee on Newlan Creek Reservoir from Oct. 1 – Oct. 31; 35 daily and 70 in possession.
The comment period will be Dec. 15 – Jan. 14.
