Goltz elected as MHSA Class 'C' representative

Bridger High School Principal Jim Goltz is the new Montana High School Administration (MHSA) Class “C” rep elected to the board for a four-year term.  

Goltz is presently finishing his sixth year as the JH/HS Principal/AD at Bridger High School.

Goltz said he will “basically be a sounding board for all Class C schools.”  

“I will be the voting delegate on the MHSA board for these schools.  I will also help with tournaments and playoffs that are associated with them,” he said.  

All Classes in Montana hold meetings in the summer that help decide on what decisions are being made at the annual MHSA meetings in January.  Goltz’ first meeting is Tuesday June 16.  

“We are doing that meeting via Zoom.  I am excited and looking forward to the opportunity in not only representing all Class C schools, the MHSA board but our school as well,” he said.

Goltz is taking over from for Luke Kloker (Fairview-Superintendent)who  has just finished his four-year term.

Goltz lives in Bridger and is married to Amy, and has three children Chance (Junior), Mya (Sophomore) and Gage (8th grade.)
