Historical character actress performs in Red Lodge

Stay Tuned, History coming to town: actress/scholar Mary Jane Bradbury will be appearing as historical characters for free around Red Lodge in Feb. Feb. 13: Roosevelt Middle School: 9 a.m. Nancy Russell and 12:45 p.m. Jeanette Rankin; The Willows 3:30 p.m. Jeanette Rankin;  6 p.m.– Carnegie Library: Jeanette Rankin. On Feb. 14: 8:15 Roberts School: Jeanette Rankin; 10:30 p.m. The Willows: Dora Dufran; 12 p.m.– Carnegie Library: Dora Dufran. 

Bradbury brings history to life for audiences of all ages in the Rocky Mountain region. She will represent several historical characters including a brothel owner who knew Calamity Jane (her employee!), Jeanette Rankin (first female U.S. senator and from Montana) and others. She is a member of the Humanities Montana and Colorado Humanities Speakers Bureaus, and before moving to Montana, was an historic interpreter for the Denver Museum of Nature and Sciences.
