Joliet's Deon Bradley sweeps passed the Ennis defense.

The J-Hawks resumed normal service after their shock opening day defeat this time showing no mercy to Ennis as they trounced them 34-6.

A scoreless 1st quarter might well have deceived most but a 2nd quarter blitz of 20 points threw all doubt about who was to win out of the window.

Rye Bradstrap opened the scoring for Joliet off a 33-yard run followed by Caleb Bailey catching a 31-yard pass from Hayden Ward 31.

Bradstrap added a second touchdown from 11 yards out with Bailey the recipient of another long pass by Ward 31 to get his 2nd touchdown of the evening.

Bradstrap wrapped up proceedings with a 3 yard run, leaving coach George Warburton to say, “he really had an amazing game.”

In offense Bradstrap rushed 22 times for 148 yards with 3 touchdowns.

In passing Hayden was 7-15 for 108 yards with 2 touchdowns.

Caleb Bailey caught 4 balls for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Wyatt Anderson had 5 solo tackles and assisted on 9 tackles and 2 quarterback sacks and a pass deflection. Kelly Lind had 2 solo tackles and assisted on 14 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Tyler Butts had 1 solo tackle and assisted on 10 tackles with one fumble caused and a pass deflection.

Bailey had 1 solo tackle and assisted 7 tackles and 1 sack with Ward on 4 solo tackles and assisting on 7 tackles and 1 interception.

Deon Bradley had 2 solo tackles and assisted on 3 tackles and 1 interception and 1 pass deflection.

“Ennis stepped out on their home field ready to play but we kept our composure and put 20 points on the scoreboard in the second quarter,” said Warburton. “It was a confidence-boosting road win for us and we hope to keep the momentum going this Friday against a very solid West Yellowstone team.”
